"Business-Inspired Philanthropy: Hope, Hype and Reality"
The event featured Micheal Edwards discussing philanthrocapitalism along with Joanna Jacobson, Andrew Hahn and Dean Lisa Lynch. Edwards' book, Just Another Emporer? Edwards takes a critical look at this new philanthrocapitalism phenomenon and argued that despite its great potential, the movement is oversold in both its proposed means and promised ends.
