Elenore Garton, PhD '11
Elenore Garton, formerly a Senior Research Associate and Lecturer at the Sillerman Center for the Advancement of Philanthropy at Brandeis University's Heller School for Social Policy and Management, coordinated the research efforts of the Sillerman Center as well as teaching courses about philanthropy. Currently Garton is the vice-chair of the Wilson Foundation and has chaired its family homelessness initiative since 2001. She is the chair of the Social Justice Philanthropy Collaborative, co-chair of the Juvenile Justice Workgroup of the Youth Transitions Funders Group and on the family philanthropy committee of the Council on Foundations. Currently Garton is working as a consultant in Cambridge, MA.
Garton's extensive national networks and leadership of committees in the funding world provided an important link between the Sillerman Center and the philanthropic community.
